Bayelsa state governor, Duoye Diri, was spotted in a deep worship shortly after he got the news that the Supreme court has upheld his election.
The Supreme court in Abuja earlier today February 26th dismissed the application filed by the All Progressive Congress (APC), seeking for a review of the judgement annulling the election of its candidate David Lyon in the November 2019 election and instating Duoye Diri into office.
The court stated that the application filed by APC, lacked merit and that the decision of the court cannot be reversed.
It was gathered that Diri was in the Abuja home of his predecessor, Seriake Dickson, when the supreme court ruled in their favour. They went on their knees to give praises to God for the judgement.
