Chinese man sentenced to death for the killing of officials at the Corona virus check point (photo)

A court in China has sentenced a 23- year old man to death, after he brutally stabbed two officials at a local village check point.

The incident which happened on February 6, when the convicted murderer, Ma Jianguo, was driving a mini van through a check point at Luo Meng village in Hongne, South Western Yunnan province, when he was stopped.

Ma Jianguo, who refused to cooperate with officials, incited his passengers to remove the road block.

The local official brought out his phone and started filming Jianguo, which provoked and enraged him, to stab the official in the chest and abdomen and also stabbed the official’s colleague who tried to rescue him.
