The death toll from the coronavirus outbreak has now risen to 427 while the total number of confirm cases worldwide has also risen to 20,695 officials reported on Tuesday January 4th.
According to the National Health Commission, the death toll, which was at 361 on Monday January 3, 2020, increased to 427 by Tuesday January 4th after 65 people passed on.
It was gathered that all of the new deaths on Tuesday were in central Hubei province, the epicentre of the virus outbreak in China.
It was further learnt that, of the 20,695 confirmed cases of coronavirus, 2,790 are currently in critical condition, according to Worldometers.info.
So far, a total of 730 people have recovered from the deathly flu-like virus which has been recorded in 28 countries and territories, including Hong Kong, United States, Thailand, Japan, and Britain.
