DPO in Cross River State shot dead during clash with students ( photo)

Gabriel Amawu, a deputy supritendent of police and the divisional police officer, who headed the Nigeria police division in Cross Rivers State, has been shot dead during a fracas with students in the state.

Irene Ugbo, the police spokesperson of the Cross River State police command, revealed that the incident happened yesterday night, between 10pm- 11pm, when the police arrested one of the student,which made the other students react and it led to a crisis.
