A 58 – year old local vigilante member identified as Kasali Ajeigbe has been killed by fleeing Fulani herdsmen in Ondo East local government area of Ondo State.
The deceased who worked in a sawmill, was brutally murdered last weekend while going home from work.
Saheed Ajeigbe the deceased brother, revealed that his late brother Kasali, was waiting for a taxi along the road before he was attacked by the herdsmen.
He further revealed that the herdsmen were being chased by police officers from Oke – Ogbo, where they went to rob. They saw him at the bus stop as they were escaping and attacked him by slitting his throat.
