Ghana closes all borders, records first Corona virus death

The deputy health minister of Ghana Alex . K. Abban, announced in an interview that the country has recorded its first Corona virus death.

Mr Abban, revealed that the deceased was a Lebanese male trader, who reported at the hospital after a fever and cough.

He was confirmed to be a carrier of the deadly virus on March 19, 2020.

As measures to curtail the wide spread of the virus, President Nana Akufo – Addo, announced the immediate closure of all land, air and sea borders. Goods, supplies and cargo will not be affected.

He further revealed that anyone who comes into the country before Sunday, will be quarantined and tested for corona virus.
