Gospel Singer, Atorise attacked by gunmen in Lagos. Condition unstable at the moment

Popular gospel act, Lanre Teriba aka Atorise is presently in an unstable condition as a result of injuries he sustained during an attack in Lagos at the weekend, by suspected herdsman.

According to an eye witness , the incident happened on Saturday night at the Berger end of the Lagos/ Ibadan expressway while he was returning from an engagement.

From information made available to us by the eye witness, a group of unknown gunmen attacked the musician while returning from a wedding ceremony where he had gone to perform.

Lanre Teriba is currently receiving treatment in a Lagos hospital he is said to have sustained serious injury in the head and neck.

Speaking with NESCO MEDIA reporter on his hospital bed, Atorise said that how he is still alive is a miracle, informing that he was only revived to life after he was rushed to the hospital from the scene of the incident as he had earlier passed out as a result of the devastating effect of the deadly weapon unleashed on him by his attackers who actually left him lifeless until God took control.

This is coming after the singer just released a song titled WHY THE KILLINGS, where he lamented the state of insecurity in the country.

In the song, he campaigned against the unending cases of kidnapping and wanton killings especially by suspected Fulani herdsmen among other murderous gangs responsible for the various reported cases of killing in the country in the name of religion.
