Lagos State Government Rescues The Little Boy That Was Assaulted By His Mother (photo)

The Directorate of citizens right under the Lagos State Government, has rescued the 12- year old boy that was battered and assaulted by his mother in the Agege area of the state.

Nesco media reported the incident yesterday which has gone viral on Facebook and other social media platforms, there by prompting the Directorate of citizens right (DCR) to intervene.

The boy was pictured drenched in blood. Mrs Bola Oseni, the director of DCR, revealed how officials of the ministry didn’t meet the boy’s mother when they got to the house, but later apprehended her at a different location.

She was arrested and taken to the police station for questioning. Mrs Oseni said the mother will be charged to court any moment from now.

The boy has been taken to the ministry of youth and social development for placement in one of the state government facility.
