Nigerians Boycott Chinese Restaurants Over Corona Virus Fear

If information reaching us around Lagos metropolis is anything to go by, it seems Lagosians have already started boycotting Chinese restaurants over the fear of the deadly corona virus whose first case has already been reported in Nigeria.

According to an anonymous source who patronizes Chinese restaurant

” Since the first case was reported in Nigeria on Thursday night, i have stopped patronizing my favorite chinese restaurant. With the way this virus is spreading, one can contact the virus in any way, so one just have to be very careful. From the way this virus originated, isn’t it suspicious that this virus must have broken out due to the kind of animals these chinko people eat.”

In a chat with the manager of a popular Chinese restaurant in Ikeja, the Manager confirmed that sales and patronage has dropped since the first case was reported in Nigeria.
