Pastor Adeboye leads RCCG members in protest against killings and insecurity across the country (video)

This afternoon, the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye led members of his church in a protest against the high number of killings and insecurity across the country.

It was learnt that before the clergyman leads his church’s members for the protest, he had led his congregation on prayers for the peace and security of Nigeria at his church’s monthly Thanksgiving Service.

He said; 

“Lord, have mercy on Nigeria. Let there be peace and security in Nigeria. God sees all things and knows where the terrorists are hiding, we pray that God sends His light to Nigeria and expose the evildoers in the country.

“After the service, we are all going for a prayer walk. We’ll march according to age. There are some who would march around the church because of their age and there are some who would march with me to Atan Cemetery and back.”

The protest which was against the massive killing of Christians in northern Nigeria, began at about 11:00am shortly after the church service at the RCCG’s National Headquarters in Ebute Metta, in Lagos State.
