The Ring Magazine, which is boxing’s biggest magazine on Tuesday February 25th, released it’s new list of top heavyweight boxers, with Deontay Wilder dropping down the list while British Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua climbed up the list.
Tyson Fury, who is still undefeated, over the weekend beat Deontay Wilder to retain the lineal heavyweight belt and also clinch the WBC belt and has become the Ring Magazine’s number one world champion.
Fury is the 3th heavyweight champion in history to win the Ring Magazine belt two times after late Muhammad Ali and Floyd Patterson while two-time world champion Anthony Joshua is now second place after his rematch win over Mexican-American boxer Andy Ruiz Jr in December 2019.
On the Ring Magazine new list, Deontay wilder has now dropped down to the 4th position following his loss to Fury, while Dillian Whyte now above the Bronze Bomber.
