The Cross River State Police Command, have arrested three suspected bank robbers on Wednesday, March 18. The robbers whose specialty is robbing bank customers with large amount of money either in nylon or envelopes.
The suspects were reportedly arrested after attempting to rob a bank customer of his money in Calabar.
The victim they tried to rob raised an alarm, which attracted the attention of passersby and it led to their arrest. The suspects begged the police to forgive them, claiming they have been in the business of robbing bank customers for three months.
The police command recovered a Toyota Sienna vehicle and a rod used in opening car doors and breaking glasses.
