Three suspected Kidnappers arrested by police in Cross River ( photo)

The Cross River State police command have arrested three suspected Kidnappers, well known for wrecking havoc and terrorising residents and innocent citizens of the state.

Cross River State commissioner of police Nkeruwen Akpan, disclosed during a press briefing that operatives of the Anti- cultism and kidnapping squad apprehended the suspects following a tip off.

The operatives of the Anti- cultism and kidnapping squad, swung into action following a tip off that a particular building is being used as a den for kidnappers.

They raided the building, arrested the suspects and rescued a woman identified as Grace Adams, who was kidnapped a day before.

The CP also appealed to the State Government, to emulate Anambra state in enforcing the law on demolishing houses built by kidnappers in the state, to serve as a deterrent to others.

One of the suspects named Harold Isong, claimed to be a graduate of a University in the State, promised to desist from crime if released.
