“Today we fly business class” Yemi Alade says as she recounts the time her mum had to sell her economy class ticket to pay her school fees

Popular Nigerian singer Yemi Alade has taken to her Instagram page to revealed that when she was in primary 6, her mother had to sell her economy class ticket to pay her school fees.

The ‘Johny’ crooner added that those days are behind them as they now fly business class.

Sharing a photo she took with her mum in London, she wrote: 

“London is more than just a city to my family, it marks a time in our lives (20 years ago) when mum had to sell her economy class ticket to pay my primary 6 school fees.

Today we fly business class! Next stop #amsterdam.”
