Governor Duoye Diri of Bayelsa State, has disclosed what the General overseer of the Redeemed Christain Church of God Pastor Enoch Adeboye, told him when he visited his church.
Governor Diri, revealed this during the testimony session of the monthly gathering of the RCCG on Friday, at the church international headquarters, along the Lagos- Ibadan expressway.
He said he contested the Bayelsa State Governorship election in November 2019 and was reported to have lost the election.
He further revealed he rejected the result presented to him by INEC, and sought a redress through a judicial process.
He said during the process, he visited the church during their great turn around programme on the 11th of January. After the service, he said he went to see Pastor Adeboye, who prayed for him and told him to go, and when he recovers his mandate, he should come back to the church and testify.
He further revealed how the judicial process dragged on, until February 14. He revealed that 24 hours before the swearing in of the alleged winner, a miracle happened, the Supreme court declared him the winner of the election.
He concluded by saying he came to give God all the glory, and also thank Pastor Adeboye and everyone that supported him in prayers.
